Independent Living
Strode Independent Living, our 62+ community offers apartments that include studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom with den, and two-bedroom apartments. Each unit has a large, sunny living space, a fully equipped kitchen, walk-in closet, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. On-site parking is provided, plus a separate storage area for each apartment.
Just a short walk away is Vermont Technical College, where you can audit classes, enjoy cultural and sports events, join a yoga or tai chi session — even swim in the college pool.
Skilled Nursing
For those who need the highest level of care, our retirement community is home to Menig Nursing Home. A 30-bed skilled nursing facility, Menig is continually recognized for its quality of service and has been named one of the nation’s Best Nursing Homes by U.S. News & World Report.

Morgan Orchards is part of the Gifford Retirement Community, which provides services for our elder population through a continuum of care that includes an adult day program, independent living apartments, a future assisted living facility, and our award-winning 30-bed nursing home.
