Heather Impey, Executive Director of Menig Nursing Home

Heather joined the team in August 2025. Heather brings over 20 years of experience in skilled nursing and long-term care leadership, with a strong track record in clinical care, admissions and marketing, and senior administration. Licensed as both a Nursing Home Administrator and LPN in New Hampshire and Vermont, Heather is known for her commitment to regulatory excellence, operational leadership, and, most importantly, compassionate care. Her leadership will further our mission to enhance the quality of life for our residents and uphold the highest standards in elder care.
Kim Marcotte- Care Manager

As Menig’s Care Manager, Kim takes care of admissions, discharges, and handles any family issues that may arise. Kim’s also an LNA, so she meets with the residents one on one and can discuss care plans. What Kim loves most about Menig is with just 30 residents, she can get to know them and their families really well. She also loves how everyone at Menig is willing to help each other, adding to the small community feeling.
Rebecca McShane- Nurse Care Coordinator

Rebecca has a long history with Gifford. Not only was she born at Gifford, but Rebecca also started working there in 1988, alongside her grandmother, while still in High School. Rebecca enjoys the personal relationships she has formed with the residents and the members of the Menig staff. As Nurse Care Coordinator, Rebecca organizes treatment plans between the patient and nursing staff.
Jennifer Spivey- Activity Director

Jennifer leads the activities department, coordinating fun projects and events for the residents to keep them engaged and their minds sharp. She loves getting to know the residents through their stories and experiences. Jen says Bingo is a big hit, but there are also exercise activities, trivia sessions, and entertainment acts as well. One of the highlights of Jen’s job over the last couple of years has been arranging family visits for the residents, either in person or virtually.
Kevin Bailey- Head Chef

Kevin became Head Chef at Menig during the 2021 holiday season and he hit the ground running. He finds his job rewarding on many different levels, whether it’s providing the dietary needs of the residents or sharing ideas with Silas Tanner, the head chef at Strode Independent Living. After 25 years of experience working in fine dining, Kevin is here because he cares about the community.
While at Menig, be sure to say hello to:
